Course Outline:

Emergency First Aid Course at Work (EFAW), an HSE (Health and Safety Executive) approved.

This is a course tailored specifically for Yoga teachers as it will cover potential issues and situations teachers might come across in a class setting, alongside with other important areas in the field of First Aid.

Yoga teacher will learn how to deal with a various type of emergency that may come across in an everyday class –
including fainting, epilepsy, asthma and heart conditions – and will cover all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid.

After completion of the course, you'll receive a Certificate that will expire in 3 years.

The number in the class is limited to give the students space to learn practical techniques and experiencing the workshop in a light and fun way.

This course is dedicated to Yoga teachers with a minimum RYT200 certification, or anyone who works in the well-being industry who require First Aid certification.

This Level 3 QNUK Emergency First Aid at Work qaulification is a one day course that covers a range of CPR and first aid skills. The training enables a first aider to give emergency firs aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. There will be specific guidance relating to yoga teaching.

Cost £75

At the end of the training, you will receive First Aid Certification - this will be valid for 3 Years.

About the facilitator - Emily Mortishead - EMT First Aid:

The benefits of training with EMT, is that our trainers have expert knowledge in the fields they teach. The trainers are either qualified Emergency Services Professionals, teachers, and/or police officers who use their skills on a daily basis. They are also highly experienced and proficient trainers.

EMT are fully regulated to provide the HSE qualifications. Our Qfqual regulation is through the accredited awarding organisations IQL and QNUK to provide accredited first aid qualifications.

Our courses are extremely engaging and held in small groups, maximum of 12 to give you individual attention and help you become confident and competent.
