There are different types of hysterectomy and each experience is unique. As yoga teachers we are gifted an opportunity to support those who are faced with the choice of having a hysterectomy and how they experience their lives and their bodies after it has taken place.
In this workshop you will :
- Understand the different types of hysterectomy
- Explore the effect of hysterectomy on the body and hormones
- Experience gentle, somatic, trauma informed practices to help those who have experienced a hysterectomy
- Learn practices to address the bio/psycho/social impact of hysterectomy
This event will be recorded and support material will be provided.
This training will help you create a more female pelvis friendly and informed yoga class.
Would you like to add more depth to your regular class offerings or run dedicated classes around the health, wellbeing and connection to the female pelvis?
Would you like to help women have a better relationship to their pelvis, increased pelvic wellbeing and vitality and be able to address the problems that can arise with this part of the female body?
If you would like to learn more about the female pelvis through an embodied and somatic mixed modality approach and with a bio/psycho/spiritual/social perspective join me.
"The Embodied Female Pelvis is a beautiful, holistic investigation into the pelvis, an opportunity to explore with Jane as your wise and gentle guide. I look forward to every session" Nadia, Attendee The Embodied Female Pelvis Course
"I signed up for the course at a time when I ..needed a safe space in which to explore further my pelvic anatomy, my relationship to my pelvis to help me in my healing journey. Jane offered this and more and the course really helped me in my own healing journey and back home to myself again. Reawakening parts of me that had been quiet for a little while.
